GALAX ATF III is a semi-synthetic oil intended for lubricating General Motors automatic transmission systems. It is also used for power steering systems of passenger and commercial vehicles, torque converters, hydraulic clutches and other hydraulic mechanisms where the manufacturer prescribes a fluid of the DEXRON III type. It can also provide for an extended drain interval, in keeping with recommendations of the transmission manufacturer.
