GALAX GEO LA is a low-ash mineral oil of API CF quality level, intended for lubricating industrial engines which use natural gas as fuel. It provides excellent protection against deposits, wear, oxidation and nitration of oil. The lubricant contains less than 300 ppm of phosphorous, thus meeting the strict requirement of catalyst manufacturers. It is recommended for lubricating four-stroke industrial gas engines (turbocharged and naturally aspirated), of the majority of leading world manufacturers: Caterpillar (all series, Ruston, Perkins) Waukesha (Cogeneration), Wartsilla, Jehnbacher, MWM Deutz, MDE Decentrale Energiesysteme, MAN & BW, Guascor, Dresser-Rang category II and III, Rolls Royce (former Ulstein Bergen) and others. It is also used for lubricating gas compressors which transport natural gas, and which are integrated into the system with the gas engine, when the manufacturer prescribes the oil of the quality here specified.
